College is a pivotal time in young people's lives. At Hillel at Stanford, we believe that in order to foster a vibrant Jewish future, college students need to build connections to Jewish wisdom, community and traditions. Students come to Stanford with a diverse range of Jewish backgrounds, practices, knowledge and traditions. We have the opportunity to encourage their connection to Jewish life and community here and around the world.

Hillel at Stanford exists to empower students to explore and deepen their identities, and to lead lives inspired by Jewish values and commitments. 

We provide a welcoming, pluralistic Jewish home on campus for all students, a network of support, and a bridge to the broader Stanford community.

We counter antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment on campus, which can create a challenging environment for students, faculty and staff. 

As an innovative center for Jewish life at one of the world’s top universities, our vision is to inspire emerging leaders, connect every student to meaningful community and ensure the sustainability of the Jewish future.
