Dear Parents,
Mazel tov! Your child, now our student, is embarking on their Stanford career.
This is the beginning of an incredible journey for them, and it creates big changes for you too.

We know it can be a relief to be able to trust that another group of caring adults are also looking out for your kid, and that’s what we’re here for. From soup when they’re sick (HYPERLINK to your email or an order form), to in-person gatherings on campus at New Student Orientation, Family Weekend, and Commencement, to quarterly updates for families by zoom and e-newsletters, we believe that our being here for them also means we are here for you. We receive no data from Stanford about students or parents from Stanford; if you would like to stay in touch with us, please connect with us here (HYPERLINK to google form to collect parent info…must link to an address that works while Shira is away) so we know how to reach you.
Jewish students count on our support, and we count on yours; our Director of Development Shira Podhozer (HYPERLINK) would be happy to talk to you more about actualizing this.
Welcome to the Stanford Jewish family!

The Tree of Life parents giving circle
The Tree of Life is our Hillel at Stanford circle of parents and grandparents who are committed to helping the Jewish community thrive on campus. Members play a crucial role in providing a meaningful, transformative Jewish experience for your student and all Jewish students at Stanford.
We hope you’ll consider joining this dedicated cohort of family members to support your students’ Jewish home away from home! 70% of our annual budget is raised from private donations and High Holiday contributions. Your support of Hillel at Stanford will help to ensure that Hillel continues to be here for Stanford students to support their leadership development, curiosity about Judaism and engagement in Jewish life.
