Who Are We?

Our vision:

We focus on maintaining and enhancing opportunities for students at Stanford while training and nurturing them to become the next generation of leaders in the American (and international) Jewish community. Your gift, no matter the amount, provides meaningful Jewish experiences for Stanford students to enrich their lives and the world.

Hillel at Stanford receives no financial support from the University; we are funded directly by the generous support of alumni, parents, and friends.

Your impact:

In 2022, Hillel at Stanford was able able to:

  • Connect with over 900 Jewish students - 86% of Jewish undergrad students, and 40% of the jewish graduate students.

  • Share Shabbat dinner with more than 70 students at Hillel at Stanford every week.

  • Provide free or heavily subsidized immersive trips to Israel, Poland, Argentina, the American South, New York City, as well as regular domestic overnight retreats, with thoughtful Jewish content that connects our students to Jewish cultures and histories around the world.

  • Host regular social justice volunteer work and peer education in a Jewish context tackling issues like civic engagement around elections, housing insecurity, addressing sexual and relationship violence, etc.

All thanks to your generosity! Thank you.
